Environmental Reviews

Projects using HUD funds require completion of environmental review in accordance with published HUD Environmental Review Guidelines.  For the purposes of defining the applicable regulatory framework for these projects, Tribes are responsible for administering the environmental review process required by HUD.  The required levels of environmental review are described in 24 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 58 Environmental Review Procedures for Entities Assuming HUD Environmental Review Responsibilities.  TBS can assist the Tribe with any or all of these responsibilities required by HUD.
